American Honda intends to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 across all its companies and brands, including Acura. More than that, its goal for all North American sales to exclusively stem from battery-electric and fuel-cell electrical models by 2040. The Acura line leads the pack by focusing on electrified performance and luxury. At the recent Monterey Car Week event, Acura introduced the Precision EV Concept Car. This model will be released in Acura dealerships in 2024 as the ZDX. The ZDX Type S will also be released as a high-performance version of the ZDX.

These vehicles were designed at the famous Acura Design Studio, which opened in 2007. In collaboration with GM, these models have been built on a shared platform and are engineered with Ultium batteries. By 2026, Acura’s electrified vehicles will be built on the e-Architecture platform, which exclusively belongs to Acura. The Acura ZDX and the ZDX Type S will be equipped with the latest technologies and premium materials, delivering the all-around excellent driving experience that Acura vehicles are associated with.

At Acura of Memphis, we are excited to be your reliable source for accurate details about our current and upcoming models. The ZDX and the ZDX Type S will electrify the lineup and take drivers’ expectations about Acura vehicles to the next level. Do you want to know more about the ZDX and its Type S version?
