Your search for a luxurious, three-row SUV would not be complete without focusing your attention on the popular Acura MDX. Acura introduced the MDX’s fourth generation in the 2022 model year with stunning updates to its style, features, and more. With such substantial improvements made to the 2022 version, you may not be surprised to discover that Acura has not made updates to the 2023 MDX. Our Acura of Memphis associates want to help you explore all the 2022 and 2023 Acura MDX offers.

Performance

Two powertrains are available across the lengthy trim lineup for the 2022 and 2023 model years. The entry-level engine in the MDX for both years is a V6, 3.5-liter system that generates 290 horsepower. It is offered with a 10-speed automatic transmission and the option of front-wheel or all-wheel drive drivetrains. The MDX pulls 355 horsepower from its turbo 3.0-liter, V6 engine in the higher trim levels. This engine combines standard all-wheel drive, Brembo brakes, a sport-tuned adaptive air suspension system, and sport-tuned auto transmission.

Appearance

The 2023 and 2022 MDX crossovers are striking with brilliant features from end to end. On the front end, you will find a crisp, vertical accent that runs through the center of the pentagon-shaped grille. The nose is also defined by an athletic bumper and LED light ribbons that run through the edgy headlamps. On the sides, the MDX’s style expresses its powerful capabilities while paying tribute to its luxurious side. The smooth contouring over the door panels combines a crisp accent that flows from fender to fender and solid, angled accents across the center of the door panels.

Features

The appeal of the 2022 and 2023 MDX continues throughout the available features. Specific equipment varies by trim. Some of the exciting features available in select trims include interior ambient lighting, second-row sunshades, rear and front parking sensors, memory settings for the front row, a navigation system, an intercom system, a hands-free liftgate, leather upholstery, heated seats in the first and second rows, a surround-view camera, a head-up display, USB ports, a household-style outlet in the middle row and a premium ELS sound system.
