2021 Acura RDX vs 2020 Acura RDX

Serving Memphis, TN

The Acura RDX is a solid performer in the small luxury SUV market. In the 2021 model year, the RDX adds a new PMC Edition, giving you another trim option to choose from and some additional amenities compared to the 2020 model year, which carried over from 2019 with minimal changes. Both trim levels share the same highlights that make them a top choice in their class. A spacious cabin and voluminous cargo area are notable features for the RDX in 2021 and 2020. The SUV also has sharp, precise handling and corners with ease. A well-appointed cabin with cutting-edge safety technology and top entertainment features adds to the RDX’s appeal.

Performance

The Acura RDX has the same engine in 2021 and 2020. A turbo V4 is under the SUV’s hood with the capability to create 272 HP in power. You’ll get a maximum of 280 LB-FT with the Acura as well. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard. All trim levels of the RDX use front-wheel drive as their standard drivetrain, but you can choose to switch over to all-wheel drive instead for a sportier driving experience and better grip on the road.

Appearance

The Acura RDX has a refined exterior with upscale garnishes and sporty accents on select trims. The base RDX has impressive 19-inch wheels. Its contemporary style is further enhanced by a mesh front grille, sculpted LED headlights, and an exterior with innovative contours. The A-Spec trim is a sportier variation of the RDX. It has black exterior trim details and restyled bumpers. The A-Spec also has slightly larger 20-inch wheels. An advance package can be added that tacks on a hands-free liftgate and adaptive suspension dampers.

Features

Heated front seats and keyless entry are standard on the base trim for comfort and convenience. Simulated leather seats add to your driving comfort. For technology, the base trim has WiFi and a 10.2-inch display. An available technology package can add navigation and leather seats. The A-Spec trim gets leather and suede upholstery and a 16-speaker sound system. Wood trim interior accents, a heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats highlight the Advance.
