At Acura of Memphis, our customers are often drawn to the sophisticated, athletic style of the TLX. This is a smaller sedan with exciting capabilities to support its sporty look. While deciding to make the TLX your next sedan is relatively easy to do, picking out the exact car from our inventory at Acura of Memphis is more challenging. You will undoubtedly notice that the TLX Type S has returned to the lineup when you stop by soon. How do the TLX and the TLX Type S stand apart?

Performance

The 2021 Acura TLX leaves no room for disappointment on the road, thanks to its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. This VTEC engine puts out 272 horsepower. The TLX Type S is a high-performance variant, and it comes with a 3.0-liter V6 VC-Turbo engine. This engine delivers 355 horsepower to you. Both vehicles come with a double-wishbone front suspension and a rear multi-link suspension. The Type S adds an adaptive damper, a high-performance chassis, an integrated dynamics system, and Brembo brakes.

Appearance

Regardless of the 2021 Acura TLX version you select, you will love its “jewel-eye” LED headlights and premium design. On the nose, the pentagon-shaped grille edges outward as it trends toward the sporty fascia. The sides and hood are expertly sculpted with sharp creases. The TLX Type S stands apart with its black, Y-spoke wheels and its summer performance tires. It also has special badging throughout the exterior, a black grille, and a quad exhaust system.
