Serving Memphis, TN

The 2021 Acura TLX is a next-generation sedan with a fresh, beautiful look throughout the cabin and across the exterior. The TLX is now offered in your choice of five trim levels, and these are the TLX base, the Technology, the A-Spec, the Advance, and the Type S. Now that you have narrowed down your options to the Technology and the A-Spec, you need to know how these two options stand apart from each other. Are you ready to learn more about the 2021 TLX Technology and the 2021 TLX A-Spec?

Performance

Behind the wheel, you will not notice any differences between the performance of the Technology and the A-Spec trim levels. They both have a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine with front-wheel drive and 10-speed auto transmission. The combination of equipment produces 272 horsepower. Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive is offered as an option for both of these trim levels.

Appearance

The Acura TLX Technology builds on the base trim level’s features by adding 19-inch wheels, and the A-Spec trim level builds on the Technology’s features. When you compare the Technology and A-Spec trim levels next to each other, you may notice that the A-Spec has a sportier look with more athletic accents throughout the exterior. In addition, the A-Spec adds a few exterior color options that are not available with the TLX Technology.

Features

The 2021 TLX Technology has all of the equipment offered in the base trim level, and it has a few higher-level features for you to enjoy. At this trim level, the TLX adds leather upholstery, a rear cross-traffic alert system, a 13-speaker audio system, a blind-spot monitoring system, customizable ambient lighting, and rear and front parking sensors. The A-Spec builds on the Technology’s features. Specifically, it adds brushed aluminum cabin accents, a flat-bottom steering wheel, 17 speakers for the ELS audio system, micro-suede seat inserts, ventilated front seats, and a wireless device charging station.
