After a decade of hiatus, Acura has released the much-anticipated new Acura ZDX at Acura of Memphis near Olive Branch, MS. The new ZDX is a modern electric SUV designed with cutting-edge tech, impressive performance, and a luxurious interior.
Performance
The Aura ZDX has two trim levels: the Aura ZDX A-spec trim and the Aura ZDX Type S. The Aura ZDX A-Spec is a rear-wheel drive with a single motor configuration and a 102.0-kWh battery that delivers 340 horsepower. A single full-charge battery can drive up to 325 miles per charge. On the other hand, the Acura ZDX Type S is blazing fast due to its dual motor configuration. A single charge can drive up to 288 miles. All Aura ZDX Type S models are all-wheel drives with remarkable 500 horsepower and thrilling acceleration from zero to 60 mph in less than five seconds.
Both models have an adaptive damper, Brembo front brakes, and air suspensions. The Acura ZDX is uniquely designed to have a 50-50 weight distribution and multiple drive modes. Another great feature is the DC Fast Charger, which can easily be installed in your garage to ensure that the Acura ZDX is fully charged daily. This fast charger can give the ZDX over 80 miles of power with just 10 minutes of charging. For Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, it takes about 24 and eight hours, respectively, for the Acura ZDX to fully charge.
Interior
The five-cabin interior is specifically designed to provide comfort, connectivity, and class. It has a heated steering wheel, and the rear seats can be folded to provide additional cargo space. The large center console offers ample storage space for day-to-day items like phones, keys, and beverage cups.
Safety
The new Acura ZDX has an AcuraWatch™ Safety System comprising an automated emergency braking system, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, and lane-keep assist features.
